01Working together
Who is behind Acroative?
Acroative Designs is the independent studio of Mark James, a creative director and technologist with more than 17 years in branding, web and digital products. You work with Mark directly, from the first call to launch.
For bigger projects he brings in trusted specialists (developers, motion designers, copywriters) and leads them as one team, so you always have a single point of contact.
Do you work with clients outside Malaysia?
Yes. Most projects run remotely, and Acroative has led work for clients in Singapore, the USA, Europe and Japan. Calls are scheduled to suit your time zone, and everything is shared online so you can follow progress at any time.
What kind of projects do you take on?
Projects where creativity and technology work together:
- Brand identities, logo systems and guidelines
- Websites, online stores and digital products
- AI and automation systems: agents, workflows and integrations
- Funnels, sales pages and email flows
- AI imagery, product films and motion
- Consulting and workshops on AI adoption and creative direction
Who is a good fit?
Founders, brands and teams who want more than a nice-looking result: a brand and a system that bring in reach and growth. Startups, personal brands, e-commerce and established businesses going through a digital shift are all a good fit.
02Projects & process
How does a project start?
With a short discovery call. We talk about your goals, your audience and where the business stands today. You then get a written proposal with scope, timeline and price. Once it is approved and the deposit is paid, the project is booked in.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope. As a guide:
- Brand identity: 3 to 6 weeks
- Website: 4 to 10 weeks
- Automation system: 2 to 6 weeks
- Funnel or sales page: 1 to 3 weeks
Your proposal includes a timeline with clear milestones.
What do you need from me?
Access to the right people and timely feedback. At the start that usually means your goals, any existing brand assets, logins for the tools involved and a single decision-maker for approvals. Fast, clear feedback keeps the timeline on track.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
Each stage includes two rounds of revisions, set out in your proposal. Extra rounds or new requests outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
03Pricing & payment
How much does a project cost?
Every project is priced on its scope, so there is no fixed price list. After the discovery call you get a fixed quote for the agreed work. If you have a budget in mind, share it early: it helps shape the right solution.
How do payments work?
Projects usually start with a 50% deposit, with the balance due on completion. Larger projects can be split into milestone payments. Invoices are issued in MYR or USD and can be paid by bank transfer or card.
Do you offer retainers?
Yes. Monthly retainers suit ongoing work such as design support, content, automation upkeep and growth marketing. They come with a set number of hours or deliverables each month and priority scheduling.
04AI & automation
What can you automate?
Most repetitive work that follows clear steps: lead capture and follow-up, customer replies, bookings, reporting, content workflows, CRM updates and moving data between the tools you already use. Every system starts with an audit of how the work is done today.
Which tools do you work with?
The right tool for the job, often the ones you already pay for. That includes AI models such as Claude and ChatGPT, automation platforms such as Make, Zapier and n8n, and CRMs, booking and e-commerce platforms. Where off-the-shelf tools fall short, custom integrations and internal tools are built.
Is my data safe when you use AI tools?
Your data is only used for your project. Access is limited to what the work needs, business accounts are used where available, and sensitive information is never put into tools that train on it. Read the Privacy Policy for more.
05After launch
Who owns the work?
You do. Once the final invoice is paid, ownership of the final deliverables passes to you. Fonts, stock assets and third-party software stay under their own licences. The Terms & Conditions set out the details.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. Every website and system launch includes a 30-day support period for fixes. After that, ongoing care is available through a maintenance plan or a retainer.
Can you host and look after my website?
Yes. Hosting, domains, updates and backups can be set up and managed for you, or handed over to your own team with simple documentation and a walkthrough.
